The golden-glimmering office giant draws attention: it is at once an abandoned place, a paradise for graffiti artists, and a renovation project with potential. The city of Nuremberg seized the opportunity and acquired the property along with the building. Now the future of the structure is in focus–it’s about adaptive reuse, revitalization, and exploring how the space can be architecturally transformed.
While the city administration, supported by the Montag Foundation for Youth and Society, seeks a suitable solution for housing a vocational school (with focuses on design, health, and nutrition), we approach the building and its surroundings with more creative freedom.
Our goal: a comprehensive development of the entire property that shapes the neighborhood and resonates throughout the city. Think big!
